Our company cooperated with Tesco Foundation since preparations for the 4th Tesco Charity Foundation Run. Together with children from University Children’s Hospital in Krakow, we have prepared the design of a T-shirt, which was later worn by participants of the run. I have to admit that the project prepared together with Tesco Foundation is one of our best. The positive energy, heart and the involvement of the foundation were priceless. All of that, together with knowledge and organizational skills could give only one effect spectacular finale, which we will all remember.

The cooperation between Children Friends Association and Tesco Foundation has been going on since the beginning of its existence. Every year, employees –volunteers on Saint Nicolaus Day visit community daycare center, organize activities and bring some presents for children. Santa has some gifts for the whole (600 people) group.
Our pupils also benefit from the program “Eat Healthy”. The Foundation’s help allowed, not only to buy full meals for the children, but also founded workshops and culinary trips, classes about healthy lifestyle, educational meetings with pedagogues, dietitians and dentists for children and their parents.
Children Friends Association wants to combine all the important values, to create a complementary unit of wisdom, reflection, development and colorful life. Sometimes mundane reality tries to stop us but organizations like Tesco Foundation know how to direct work and actions to help, so everything changed for better.

We have been running to help children
We met Tesco Foundation during the preparation for the First Tesco Charity Run for Children's Hospital in Cracow. We were very happy that the board of Tesco Foundation decided to be a benefactor of the run. We are really glad that so many people, not only from Cracow, were interested in the action.
Thanks to the involvement of Tesco Foundation and money collection - reaching over 832 000 zlotys, we were able to renovate oncology, hematology and neurology wards, we renovated rehabilitation center, bought robot for the rehabilitation of children and neonatal ambulance.
From the money collected during the runs we not only improved the quality of the stay for children and their parent but also we are able to save life because we bought necessary equipment that helps children.
Over the years I was touched by the personal involvement of members of the board. They were involved in actions carried out by the foundation, which often were difficult and demanding to carry out. I’m very happy that we were able to do so much to help children in need.
